Due to a high incidence of flu, parents in the area have decided to postpone Trick or Treating this year and instead hold a Halloween Party at the Fire Hall on Saturday, November 7, from 6 to 8 PM.
Anyone wishing to contribute Halloween Treats, decorations, small prizes, etc., is asked to bring them to the Fire Hall on Thursday, November 5 between 7 and 9 PM. Everyone is welcome to come to the Hall on November 7 to see the kids in their costumes and help with games and activities.
If your child is experiencing flu-like symptoms on November 7, we ask that you please keep them home and let us know, and someone would be happy to deliver a treat bag to them.
It is difficult to get the word around to everyone quickly, particularly those without small children who would not have been contacted, so if you are concerned about the spread of flu please leave your outside lights off on Halloween night.
